Such an interesting perspective and one I'd tend to agree with. The only caveat being the assumption that us humans will ultimately always have control of the machines, that we can "unplug" them if needed. I think that is the biggest fear of many, that one day the machines will be truly autonomous and make decisions on their own, without us. Then it will still depend on how they were programmed, by humans, but being self-learners they may well develop a mind of their own. Such interesting times we live in.
